Located just 5 miles north of downtown Moab, UT, this relatively small national park is incredibly spectacular and attracts visitors from all over the world, not only for its extraordinary concentration of arches, but also for its fantastic monoliths and fins with the La Sal Mountains in the background. Arches National Park boasts more than 2,000 natural arches, in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks. It is a wonderland of red rocks, and blue sky. The parks most famous arch, Delicate Arch is probably the world’s best-known arch. The 45-mile round-trip scenic drive is the best way to see many of the most notable formations.

Delicate Arch
Delicate Arch is the iconic symbol of Arches National Park and the State of Utah. What sets it apart is its incredibly graceful shape and stunning location on the edge of a 200' high cliff!
Balanced Rock Vista
Balanced Rock is 128' tall, and the rock that is balanced on the spire is estimated to weigh 45 tons. I don't know how it stays up there! The La Sal Mountains form the background for the image.
